i want to work with teenages or even adults in helping them find the right career for themselves. i would maybe like to work in a jobcentre or a careers organisation. i dont have any experiance in this area but want to learn……..

I am doing a career report and I want to be a golf player for the LPGA. What education is training needed to pursue this career? How many years of education, college you could attend and what type of degree do you earn?

Background; a friend that is mid-40’s, has done one thing for the last 21 years and climbed up to a mid-management position. He’s making OK money and would like to either start a new profession, or start a business where he won’t lose his mortgage…do you think he should go for the new or stick with the old? His offer for training is for a profession or small business administration course where tuition and books are paid for. He can’t specify a degree he’d like, just an end job/goal he’d be going for.

I am currently serving in the military and I am going to be getting out soon. Currently I have an aa degree in general education. I would like to getting training for a new career with out going back to college. Any advice for me ? any web sites that might give me advice. Most of my friends who are getting out are going to be getting a career in law enforcement. They will be going to the Acadmey for a few months then they will get good paying jobs. I wanted to do the same thing but I cant because I have some hearing loss in one ear and would not pass the medical.

Okay this question is mainly for those who’s in the Army or someone who knows the info. And please don’t give any political insight I just want a straight answer.

Also I’m split ops and is in a Reserve’s Signals Battalion.
Army did not lower their standards. And split ops means that only high school student on their Junior or Senior year can join as long as they graduate. I’m only asking this cause I want to go to college. If you don’t got an answer, don’t post. Omg. Leave your opinions about the military to yourself plz!!!!!!!

I have a question to ask you here I am 25 years old. Who is finishing a distance education course in Electronics. Would like to ask you for your opinions. Is it too late to go to an offline College get a degree and a career ? I have been dealing in one way or another with Electronics since being a kid. In School did well but like to fulfill my dream. Such as work with building automation things. Such as Robots, Airplanes and other things. Due to personal and “tragic” reasons did not go to offline College.

Gee…. Did I miss my train and no possible future for me to get my final education starting at 25 ?

My problems have finally cleared but so have lost time. I would like to have outside opinions from (you) if it is worth even trying. My Mother says it is not yet late to start. But what if she is only saying this to make me feel good? Since I am her Son. Most of my peers already have finished Education.

What do you think is my situation helpless?
What about financial aid?
