I cant decide which college to apply for. The colleges are the following:

I cant really decide, please help!

I have always aspired to choose a career that would mean work that really stimulates me and holds a natural appeal for me. The first and the simplest emotion that we discover in human mind is curiosity. My curiosity in Industrial Engineering has evoked during my summer internship at Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam which provided an initial acquaintance with the various facets of process improvement and shop floor management along with the practical application of optimization theory as applied to the production line. Upon interaction with my Professor, discussing my internship, I was introduced to the science of Industrial Engineering. Subsequently as a member of the Indian Society of Technical Education I attended various workshops on Operations Research, Engineering Management, and Production Management among other subjects, which further engrossed my interest in Industrial Engineering – a field of engineering that I aspire to study and explore.

OK, I am wondering what sort of career option I should look into. Before I do a University Degree on it.

Mainly just looking around, so don’t be afraid to voice any type of course, or anything.

Interests include:
- Architectural drawings
- Computers
- Software
- Programming

Am good at:
- Maths
- Drawings (not artistic though, more technical drawing sort of stuff)
- Moderate knowledge on computation

Anything along those lines would be great. So if you know of a good subject that I can take a look at please state it.

What do you think of the current education system? How would you improve or change it?

What was involved in the basic learning when you were at school? How did it help prepare you for life? Were you prepared for ‘life’ when you left school? Do you think that kids today are more or less prepared for the ‘real’ world when they leave school?

Let us say that three years at a community college is paid for. You earn two associates degrees (just for the education not really for the edge in the competitive market place. Remember it is paid for). Now, before you decide on transferring to university you decide you want experience. So, now you go in as a pharmacy tech or some technical helper for a few years to gain lab experience or the like. Now, you have matured and grew as a responsible adult and decide to get a bachelors or masters degree. You know what it takes to get there and do it without wondering if it is a waste of time.

I’m still in high school, but I’ve been thinking of what I want to do for the rest of my life. I’m taking some tech education classes where I can weld and work on small engines and use machinery. I want a job that pays good and has to do with something like engines, welding and electricity or machinery. I also want a job that will pay a lot as I progress through my career. Like being able to be paid $80,000-100,000 annually after working for 10 years. Any thought?

what does itt technical school offer in the criminal justice program like what careers does it help in

I am considering joining the Air Force. Before I do, I need to know from people who are there, whether or not you think this is a good move. I just don’t want to feel like I’ve wasted 4 years of my life, doing something that will not benefit me in the long run.

First of all, it seems like the USAF is mostly for people seeking a technical career. I want a degree in English and I am minoring in film. I know the Air Force will pay 100% for my education and also that they will give me money when I leave if I sign up for the GI bill. I need to know what field pays well when you leave and is in high demand and what jobs are good for women to succeed at after leaving, if you are only there for a short period of time. I may stay longer if I like it, Most people seem to enjoy it and benefit from it alot. I am currently 24, so when I get out, I’ll be 28. Most people go straight out of highschool. Do you think this may be for me? I was going for financial and educational reasons.

To continue my education. I am running into the problem of finding out what careers I can still do. My passion in live is Nursing.. but I understand that may not be an option right now considering the vunerable adult act.

What feilds can I still gain employment in that most technical colleges offer. I would consider and enjoy a career in cosmotologey (however I’m worried about the manager licensing part, would this pose as a problem)

I would also ove to go for nursing if there was a way. I want to return this fall though if I wait now.. I will more than likely never return.. so what careers can someone with a felony still do as a career?
