I’m thinking of being a crime scene investigator and I have some questions and I was wondering if anyone could help.
first how does this career relate to chemistry, what does this career require you to do, what tasks do you perform on a daily basis, what tasks do you perform weekly, monthly or yearly basis, and 5 tasks that someone who works in this career would be required to do that directly relates to chemistry.
I know thats a lot but I have some more questions-
what level of education is required to enter this career, including schooling, special training, tests or certificates. special licenses or certificates that might be required before I can work in this profession? also Pay scale?-hourly wage, yearly salary
is the career in high demand? Where would I choose this career work(at a university, company, etc.)
Thanks to all, and I know this is a lot!!!!
thanks that website helped a lot!

you need to contact a college that offers this as a major and ask them any questions you have. Also, make sure you realize it is not like it is on tv.Check out this link it has the info you want to know.
My brother is a crime scene tech and he works really long hours. He collects evidence and takes pics at a crime scene. He has a BS in criminal justice and makes about $60,000 a year. But he also works in Chicago and sadly there are a lot of murders just like this weekend there were 9 shootings and he has barely had time to sh*t. So you wanna keep in mind that you will not have much free time if this is the career you choose, especially if you work in a big city. But best of luck to ya!
