I have a bachelors degree in science and have been working in scientific research for 6 years now. I would like to make a move to a whole new career, possibly in recruiting, education or training. I am looking for a career where I work with people, have a positive impact, and influence others. I have great people skills and enjoying working with others. How do I get started???
Thank You

Research the areas that interest you carefully. Take plenty of time, and get as much information as you can. It may be possible to arrange a work shadow opportunity - meaning that you follow somebody in one of those fields you are interested in for a day or two, and experience their job first hand.
If you are interested in education, most schools would welcome a real life scientist to come and speak to their students about what yur work involves, and about how science is related to everyday life.
If you work in a large organisation, contact your Human Resources Dept - they will have info about in-house courses you can do in the areas of communication skills etc, and may also be able to point you towards external/postgraduate courses in the areas you are interested in. HR usually have a focus on life-long learning.
If you are interested in recruitment, make sure you offer yourself as a member of a selection panel for any positions which are coming up in your organisation, even if they are not connected to your specific field.
Finally, make a list of all the things you do in your job - i mean ALL of them. Now, think which of these are transferrable - obviously specific scientific processes are not relevant to the wider workforce, but there are many things you do in the course of your work which could be applied somewhere else. When you eventually end up writing a job application, or re-do your resume, make sure you write it with these transferrable skills in mind. Make sure that you talk to people in those areas around you and ask how they got into the job they are in - put your name forward for whatever opportunities come up in these areas. Get out there and sell yourself!
