After I finished high school I went to technical school to become a sound engineer, I graduated, worked as a sound engineer for about a year, and quit. Turned out it wasn’t what I had expected. “long story” . I eventually went back to college for two more semester without knowing what I wanted to study, just general studies, and now I find myself having to make THE decision. and I still don’t have a clue… I went to my college counselor looking for guidance but they didn’t seem to care, at all. In addition they are making me take 5 college math classes that I do not intend to take, I already tried taking one for the first semester but ended up dropping the class because of its ridiculous workload. I’ve done really well on every other subject, but math’s always been my weakness.
What options do I have? I honestly feel like giving up. I’d just love to find a job were I can get to actually do something, not just spend all day in a cubicle. Something hands on. like carpentry?

Aside from hands on, do you have any interests? Engineering is great for spacial thinking, but requires math skills. What about the health field? Coaching or teaching?
Vocational degree in plumbing- it pays well, but it’s a shi–y job.
haha.
Ummm heating air conditioning repair.
A lot of these vocational jobs would bring you greater success if you can run your own business. Why don’t you apprenctice with a carpenter in the meanwhile to see if you like that?
Good luck
