Other than college and military, what are my options after high school?

career technical education

I do not want to go to college because I can’t afford it, and my grades aren’t good enough for a 4 year university. I also DO NOT want to attend a technical school after high school.

I’m completely against joining the millitary.

What are my other options? I’m about to be a senior next year. Should I drop out, get a GED, and start looking for a job?

I really have no hobbies, or career interests.

What are some well-payed careers that require no college education?

    You sound pretty screwed to me. Just smoke alot of pot and live in your parents basement cuz you dont seem to want to work for anything at all.

    honestly, without a college education or some time in the military, your best bets are to find a trade company to work for and eventually earn yourself an apprenticeship, tradesmen and women earn a decent amount depending on the trade, but you certainly have to physically work for your money. either that or homelessness. my advice is to seriously think about college and see if there is a financial option, maybe a student loan program? i think you would appreciate it in the end. good luck.

    Any of the trades (electrician, plumber, carpenter) but you have to work hard and won’t get paid very much while you’re apprenticing; you could be a bartender – they make good money; firefighter;
